 a solution-focused therapy approach, which targets what is desired and what works rather than what is not desired and isn’t working.  This model helps people reach goals and resolve problems more rapidly because it emphasizes utilizing the strengths and resources already available within them.

  • Explore what drives hurtful compulsions, such as excessive dieting, eating, or exercising.
  • Inventory your inner (and outer) world, clarifying what to keep and what to let go or change.
  • Foster existing strengths and use new resources so you can live with increased vitality and compassion.
  • Integrate lifestyle choices that nourish and sustain you.

  • Illuminate underlying beliefs and behaviors that contribute to the problem
    you want to change.
  • Identify and transform the thoughts that drive hurtful or unsatisfactory behavior.
  • Resolve contradictory thoughts that interfere with making positive changes.
